The large Air gets M3 speed and Apple Intelligence.
Overview
The 13-inch iPad Air with M3 retains the large screen format introduced in 2024, so the only changes versus the earlier 13-inch model are inside. The M3 chip adds ray tracing support and a speed boost over the M2, while 8 GB of memory is enough to run Apple Intelligence features.
Its 13-inch Liquid Retina display has a 2732 x 2048 resolution and peaks at 600 nits, noticeably brighter than the 11-inch panel. The enclosure matches the 12.9-inch footprint of the iPad Pro, and accessories such as the 13-inch Magic Keyboard for iPad Air fit it.
The starting price is $799 for 128 GB, with 256 GB, 512 GB and 1 TB tiers above that. Cellular models support 5G, and the Pencil Pro and Pencil (USB-C) are supported.
