Instagram launches on Apple TV with Reels, longer videos and live shows, MacRumors reports
Instagram has arrived on the Apple TV, according to a MacRumors report, giving Meta's photo and video service a place in the living room on Apple's set-top box for the first time.
The app is listed on the tvOS App Store and requires tvOS 26.0 or later. MacRumors notes that Apple's release metadata dates version 66.0 to October 23, 2026, while an archived App Store listing from October 19 still showed compatibility only with iPhone and iPad, suggesting the Apple TV version went live in the past few days.
The listing describes Reels, longer videos and live shows, all in one place. Viewers can watch content from creators they follow, browse new videos and pick up where they left off across devices.
