Analysts see iPhone Duo near 6 million units this year as Apple calls demand 'extraordinary'
Apple says demand for iPhone Duo has been "nothing short of extraordinary," and now analyst estimates are starting to put a rough number on what that could mean for the foldable's first months.
Apple's statement, first reported by MacRumors and attributed to the Financial Times, said the company is working hard to get the product into customers' hands as quickly as possible. Apple gave no unit figures and has not said how many iPhone Duo units it is producing.
The numbers that are circulating come from outside Apple. Cult of Mac points to a September forecast from Omdia, which expected Apple to ship more than six million iPhone Duo units by the end of 2026. Counterpoint analysts have reportedly cited a similar figure.
