Apple hires Meta's litigation chief Scott Tucker to lead global legal fights, Bloomberg reports
Apple has hired a veteran Meta litigator to run its courtroom strategy worldwide, according to a Bloomberg report published on October 16 by Mark Gurman and echoed by MacRumors and 9to5Mac. Apple has not issued a public announcement of its own.
The hire is Scott Tucker, who spent nearly six years at Meta as a vice president and deputy general counsel for global litigation. Before Meta, he held a senior legal role at Morgan Stanley. At Apple he will carry the title vice president of global litigation and financial services, which Bloomberg describes as a newly created position.
