Apple starts moving up iPhone Duo delivery dates for some pre-orders, MacRumors reports
Apple has started moving up estimated delivery dates for some iPhone Duo pre-orders, according to MacRumors, easing a backlog that pushed new orders out to late January within minutes of pre-orders opening on October 16.
MacRumors reports that the changes are showing up for some customers in the United States and Japan. In the U.S., YouTuber Matt Gonzalez said his Star White 512GB order went from a December estimate to November 20-30. MacRumors also cites a pair of customers whose windows moved from December 1-8 to November 16-23, while forum members described shifts of several weeks. Not every order has changed: one forum member's November 6-13 estimate stayed put, and another saw only a one-day improvement, from November 3-10 to November 2-9.
