Apple has published a newsroom post detailing the redesigned Health app's expansion to more languages, giving a fuller picture of a revamp that is currently in the iOS 27.3 developer beta.
According to Apple, the app will support Global English, Simplified and Traditional Chinese, French, Japanese, Korean, Norwegian, Portuguese, Spanish, Turkish and Vietnamese. The company says millions of people worldwide will be able to use it, and that more languages will follow over time. Apple did not list specific countries in the post.
What the redesign includes
Apple describes an Insights tab that summarizes heart, sleep, readiness, fitness, vitals and cycle tracking data through the day, alongside a For You section with daily recommendations based on a person's habits. One example Apple gives is a suggestion to adjust a bedtime routine after several nights of poor sleep. The app also carries educational videos and articles from Health app clinical experts.
A Longevity tab offers long-term trend analysis across heart health, sleep, mental wellbeing, movement, metabolic health, hearing and nutrition. Within it, a feature called Health Age estimates how the body is aging relative to chronological age, using Apple Watch data such as VO2 max, resting heart rate, sleep and heart rate variability. Apple says this requires an Apple Watch.
Users can also add clinical lab results, such as A1c and LDL cholesterol, to the app.
At-home movement evaluations
Apple says the app can run at-home movement evaluations that assess flexibility, strength, balance, movement mechanics and VO2 max. They use the iPhone camera together with Apple Watch and provide real-time audio and visual feedback. According to Apple, the processing happens on the device and no video is recorded, stored or shared. The company also states the app is built to protect user data at every step.
Availability
The redesigned Health app is available now in the iOS 27.3 developer beta. Apple says a free public update will arrive later in 2026. The app requires an iPhone or iPad model that supports Apple Intelligence.
Because the software is still in beta, features and language support could change before the public release. Apple has not given a specific release date for the public update.
