Apple's newly released Xcode 27.2 reveals how much memory is inside three recent Apple devices, according to a MacRumors report published Thursday. The figures fill a gap in Apple's marketing material, which does not list RAM on the tech specs pages for these products.

According to the report, the OLED iPad mini, which Apple announced on October 26 with an A20 Pro chip, carries 12GB of RAM. The fourth-generation Apple TV 4K, announced on October 13 with an A19 chip, has 8GB. MacRumors also noted that the iPhone Duo has 12GB of memory, an amount it listed "for good measure" alongside the other two.

MacRumors describes none of the numbers as surprising. Both the iPad mini and the Apple TV were widely expected to ship with those amounts, and the report treats the Xcode data as confirmation rather than a revelation. The article does not say who first spotted the figures in the developer tools.

Apple does not usually publish RAM for its iPhone, iPad and Apple TV products, so developer software has long been one of the few reliable places to find the numbers. The disclosure comes at a time when memory costs are a live topic. MacRumors points out that Apple raised prices on a number of products this year, including the Apple TV 4K, and links the increases to an industrywide memory chip shortage that has pushed up the cost of RAM and storage. Apple explained those price changes in a statement dated June 25, 2026, according to the report.

The OLED iPad mini's 12GB matches the amount reported for the iPhone Duo, while the Apple TV 4K's 8GB is paired with the A19 chip. Apple has not commented on the figures.

Neither Apple's own tech specs pages nor its press materials confirm the memory figures, so they should be read as coming from Xcode 27.2 as interpreted by MacRumors. The OLED iPad mini is available to pre-order now, with deliveries scheduled to begin on November 6.
