Apple Watch Series 10
Thinner, wider and brighter from every viewing angle.
Overview
Series 10 brought the biggest change to the standard watch's proportions since Series 4. The case grew to 42 and 46 mm but thinned to 9.7 mm, and a wide-angle OLED panel kept the image visible when the wrist was tilted away from the eyes.
The always-on display refreshed once per second even in standby, so the seconds hand ticked continuously. Charging speeds improved to about 80 percent in 30 minutes, and the speaker gained the ability to play music and podcasts directly without headphones.
With watchOS 11, the sensors detected signs of moderate-to-severe sleep apnea during the night, and a depth gauge and water temperature sensor supported snorkelling and swimming. A polished jet black aluminium finish and titanium cases in Natural, Gold and Slate made it the most varied lineup in years.
Why it mattered
Introduced a thinner, wide-angle design and sleep apnea detection, a template for the cases that followed.
